The newest class of ships in the sci-fi MMORPG, Battlestar Galactica Online, has been detailed by publishers Bigpoint. These new ships add a new dimension of game play for the free-to-play online game.

Carriers are a new class of ship making their way to the sci-fi epic, Battlestar Galactica Online. This new ship is designed to be a supply and support class and can server as a mobile outpost for Strike Ships, repair and recharge resources for various friendly ships, and even coordinate offensives by calling out enemy targets.

The specifications of the Carrier are – it will have 4 XL weapons, 6 XL hull slots, 2 XL engine slots and 3 XL computer slots. As you can see, they come loaded out exclusively with XL slots and come preloaded with a Target Designator, Repair and Recharge, Point Defense x2, and Flak Cannon x2.

This type of ship could really affect the battles and game play styles for you in Battlestar Galactica Online. If you manage to master this new ship, you could quickly turn the tide of battle in your favor. Right now, the ship is in the testing phase – so keep your eyes open for any future updates on when the Carrier will be released for Battlestar Galactica Online.
